The ins and out for Lowveld tour
Heading into the final week of preparation before the 2018 Lowveld Tour (previously known as the Clover Tour), the team is looking forward to some tough days in the saddle and some fierce racing.
The Lowveld Tour consists of 5 stages over 4 days, covering a total distance of 403km with 4680m elevation gain, as well as a 1.96km criterium lap with an elevation gain of 23m per lap. The criterium will be 45 minutes + 1 lap for the elite and U / 23 men.
Heading into this Tour, the boys will be facing up against South Africas top road cycling team, BCX, as well as Office Guru racing.
The team will be racing for the young Dylan le Roux over the 4 days to try and take the overall win for the Tour. Dylan has targeted this race since the beginning of the year and has focused his training to get him into peak performance for this event.
Taking on the green jersey (sprinters jersey) is John Vlok, after a tough year of ups and downs and having had a really tough day on the bike in the Jock Cycle race, he is looking for some redemption over the 4 days.
The team will consist of Keanan Roodt, Dylan le Roux, John Vlok and guest rider James Barnes. This Tour, the team will be looking for more exposure and more aggressive racing within the elite bunch. Making moves and following moves and upping the pace on the racing.
